FROM FACEBOOK:

JAPANESE OR NIPPON PORCELAIN OR EARTHENWARE REMOVED FROM THE SINDIA WERE OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES....THESE INCLUDE "IMARI", "SATSUMA", "MORAGE".  TYPICAL POTTERY PIECES WERE PLATES, CUPS, SAUCERS, BOWLS, VASES, PLANTERS (OR GARDENIERS), UMBRELLA STANDS.  ALL OF THE PICTURES THAT FOLLOW ARE ACTUAL PIECES OF PORCELAIN OR CHINA THAT WERE REMOVED FROM THE SINDIA.  THIS TYPE OF POTTERY IS STILL AVAILABLE TODAY AND ANTIQUE PIECES CAN BE OBTAINED FROM DIFFERENT WEB SITES.  PIECES REFERRED TO AS "SINDIA CHINA" WERE FROM JAPAN AND REMOVED FROM THE SHIPWRECK NEAR 17TH STREET BEACH IN OCEAN CITY, NJ WITHIN ABOUT FIVE YEARS FOLLOWING THE 1901 WRECK.   TIDES AND STORMS SWALLOWED THE WRECK TO MAKE IT IMPRACTICAL AND IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE ANY MORE CARGO FROM THE VESSEL AFTER 1906 OR 1907.
